Livelihood & Employment Support

Sustainable livelihoods sit at the heart of our mission. The Foundation has helped deserving individuals become financially independent — including establishing a small shop for a widow so she could earn a dignified living, and providing vegetable and fruit carts through our Rehri distribution initiative. These are lasting solutions, not one-time aid.

Rather than offering one-time charity, the Foundation invests in people's ability to earn for themselves. Through this programme we have helped five deserving individuals become financially independent.

One example is a widow for whom the Foundation established a small shop, enabling her to earn a sustainable livelihood and support her family with dignity. Through our Rehri distribution initiative, vegetable and fruit carts have also been provided to individuals who had the will to work but lacked the means to make a start.

By turning support into self-employment, the programme breaks the cycle of dependency, restores self-respect and strengthens the wider local economy.
